Subsequently, I put the book on hold.

Why?

The themes and events I had planned to write about to entertain an enthused, apocalyptic audience were no longer fiction. They had started to happen, as predicted, in 2025.

Here is the note.

Slaves, Peasants & Serfs — Harvested as Always, Now No Longer Needed

21st-century post-industrial societies — dominated by 21st-century technologies, their creators and their governments — are:

• Modern, more subtle versions of the industrial, robber baron dominated, pseudo-republics and monarchies of the 17th to 20th centuries.

• Or, are like pre-industrial, feudal, monarchical, religion-dominated societies which existed prior to the Renaissance.

The strategies, tactics, methods and polities are different, but the results are the same: exploitation, poverty, inequality, and oppression.

The entrepreneurial creators, of today, and their sycophantic elites continue to exploit the less capable among us to their own benefit. The creator-elites provide the rest of humanity with just enough “scraps” to prevent revolutionary uprisings threatening their accumulation of wealth through their ongoing exploitation of the masses using the latest digital technologies. The privacy-shredding, data-mining of our lives in exchange for a handful of useful, convenient “apps” is just one of the latest examples of their exploitation.

In the 21st century “Big tech” (AI, bigdata, quantum computing, robotics, nanotechnology, pharma, etc.) will perfect surveillance states no longer dependent on the labor or productivity of masses of uneducated humans.

Choking on human waste, unable to provide enough nutritious food, clean water and clean air resources to sustain a human population of 10 billion, in 2050, the Earth will struggle and human civilization with it.

What happens when civilization no longer needs the labor and productivity of large swaths of humans? Wars as an excuse to kill off large swaths of unproductive humans consuming scarce resources? Walling-off of humans in Northern Africa, SW Asia and, maybe, SE Asia, Central and equatorial South America letting them self-euthanize? Eugenics?

Our creators and elites currently have no “good” solutions for the effects on human civilization of the coming Bigtech, climate change, and population growth tsunamis.

Until recent times, we had room to maneuver and constraints which protected us: comfortable ratios of resources to population, limits on mobility, no real-time, ubiquitous communications.

Human life and activity continue to accelerate. All aspects of our lives are moving faster and faster. At the same time, humanity’s evolutionary road is taking on more twists and turns, with minimal warning signs, or signs that appear too late to apply the necessary corrections to keep humanity in the prosperous survival lane of its evolutionary road.

“How do We keep this car on the road while it is going too fast into what may be a hairpin curve?”

In a split-second of geological time, humanity has gone from crawling, to walking, to riding animals, to riding in horse-drawn carriages, to driving 70 mph gasoline-powered vehicles, and is now trying to learn how to drive a 200 mph Ferrari. The fundamental problem is we may not have enough time left to learn how to drive a Ferrari and may not be capable of driving it.

If you want to see the future today, study what has happened and is still evolving in sub-Saharan Africa, Lebanon-Syria-Iraq, and Guatemala-Honduras-Nicaragua — the breakdown of the rule-of-law, extreme poverty and inequality, an unemployed younger generation, a lack of opportunity for most, and ruled by autocrats and their elite enablers who only care about maintaining power.

Maybe enlightened development and deployment of “Big tech” will save us, but that is unlikely in the face of humanity’s continuing embrace of the seven deadly sins: pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, and sloth.

History

For America, World War II started on December 7th, 1941, with the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

World War II had become inevitable many years before. What was the tipping point? Was it Japan’s invasion of Manchuria in 1931? Was it Hitler’s rearmament of Germany’s armed forces in violation of the WW I Armistice? Was it Hitler’s annexation of Austria in 1938, his annexation of Czechoslovakia’s Sudetenland in 1938, or his invasion of Poland in 1939?

There are too many current similarities and analogies to the economic and political dysfunction leading to World War II for us not to worry about a current trajectory towards World War III.

Tipping Point

A tipping point is a critical point in a situation, process, or system beyond which a significant and often unstoppable effect or change takes place.

What was or will be the tipping point that makes World War III inevitable? The Russian invasion of Crimea in 2014? Trump’s overt embracing of Russia’s Vladimir Putin in 2016 and thereafter? The Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022? Hamas’ murder of 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023? Israel’s subsequent and ongoing Gaza genocide, 2023-2026? Trump’s reelection in 2024? Trump’s “soft” abandonment of Ukraine in 2025. Trump’s schism with NATO in 2025-2026. Trump’s unilateral bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities in June of 2025? Netanyahu’s manipulation of Trump’s USA to join Israel in starting an unprovoked war against Iran on 2-28-2026, in the midst of negotiations with Iran? Or, will the tipping point be Iran’s and America’s mutual unwillingness to negotiate in good faith in April 2026?

Maybe the answer is all of the above, with the failed April 2026 Iranian-American negotiations being the “straw that broke the camel’s back.”

Question

What are the chances that a fascist, authoritarian regime (the American federal government in 2026) with its recent track record as a global political and military bully whose military is led by a “wannabe” Christian Nationalist crusader is going to successfully negotiate peace with an authoritarian theocratic regime (Iran) willing to martyr itself and its people in the name of their God, Allah?

The chances of negotiating a lasting peace agreement between these adversaries are not very good!

Conclusions

This situation seems eerily similar to: 1) the 1938 peace negotiations between the UK Prime Minister, Neville Chamberlain, and Adolf Hitler — ultimately a waste of time and effort, and 2) Hitler’s incessant bombing of England from July 10th to October 31st 1940, the Battle of Britain.

In 1938, Chamberlain thought he could negotiate a lasting peace with Hitler’s Germany, a fascist, authoritarian regime, not unlike Trump’s America. Hitler faux negotiated and tricked Chamberlain into believing there would be “peace in our time.”

In 1940, Hitler thought he could conquer England by bombing it into submission.

Chamberlain and Hitler were both wrong. Their tragic miscalculations were resolved by World War II.

In the current situation, the difference is that Trump’s America bombs first, then faux negotiates, while the Mullahs’ Iran welcomes the bombing as a form of martyrdom, leading to Allah’s paradise and his gift of 72 virgins.

This is a case of an irresistible force (Trump’s fascist autocratic American regime) colliding with an immovable object (the Mullahs’ and IRGC’s theocratic Iranian regime).

If the tipping point has not already occurred, get ready for someone to make that big mistake or miscalculation that will be the tipping point.

Who Do We Believe?

I recalled that there are Internet websites and applications designed to monitor and track the location and status of global shipping vessels: tankers, cargo vessels, cruise ships, fishing ships, yachts, military ships, etc.

I went online to one of these websites, Vessel Finder , to take a look at the status of tanker traffic in and around the Strait of Hormuz (see image below).

The tankers shown on this map are either anchored or in transit. Most of them are anchored. Some are loaded with oil, waiting for permission to transit the strait. Some are waiting in the Arabian Sea for permission to enter the Persian Gulf via the Strait of Hormuz to load their oil or gas. A few seem to be in transit, approaching the Strait of Hormuz to leave the Persian Gulf to deliver their oil or gas. However, no tankers are transiting the Strait of Hormuz at this time.

Conclusion

When I look at this global map of oil and gas tanker traffic feeding our energy-generating infrastructure, two thoughts pop into my head:

1. This image looks similar to ants scurrying around, finding and delivering food to their respective ant colonies.

2. In the 21st century, energy derived from oil, gas, and fossil fuels has had its day and must stop.
   
   We need to transition to wind, solar, and fusion power energy sources —generated locally — ASAP!

Who Wins

Not the United States of America!

America’s adversaries, oligarchs, and various fringe right-wing organizations benefit as they facilitate and hasten America’s abandonment of its founding principles.

The apparent winners are:

Russia

Russia is not directly involved in the Iran War but benefits “bigly.” If Trump is involved, Vladimir Putin always wins!

• America is distracted from its wavering support of Ukraine in Russia’s war on Ukraine.

• Vlad coerces Trump into reducing oil export sanctions related to the war in Ukraine to protect the world oil market.

• Russia’s floundering economy is bolstered by the rising price of oil from $70 to $100+ $/gal. Russia’s break-even oil price is said to be about $59/gal.

Russia makes super profits on sanctioned and unsanctioned oil sales.

Israel

Bibi, like Trump, excels at deflection and distraction. He promotes constant Middle East conflicts to distract the Israeli public from any judicial accountability for his alleged charges of corruption.

Bibi gets the American military to help him defang his long-term “bogeyman”, Iran.

Trump

The Iran war is a crude and dangerous attempt to deflect and distract the American People’s attention from the tightening vise of the “Epstein Files.”

The Trump Family

Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump have invested in Powerus (a Florida-based drone manufacturing company). Daddy Trump starts wars while his sons get set up to profit from selling weapons to the Pentagon. This latest deal is piled on top of cryptocurrency deals funded through Persian Gulf state sovereign wealth funds and wealthy Arabs.

Jared Kushner (President Trump’s son-in-law and son of Bibi Netanyahu’s friend, Charles Kushner) uses his US government and family contacts to generate profits from Middle East business deals with Israel, Saudi Arabia, and others through his venture capital firm, Affinity Partners.

Michael Boulos (President Trump’s other son-in-law, married to Tiffany Trump in 2022) has used his family contacts to negotiate corrupt inter-family business transactions and attempt to curry favor with wealthy Arab businessmen and influence foreign governments.

China and America’s Adversaries

China has dispatched ships to the Gulf of Oman to surveil American military tactics and strategies. Their surveillance is intended to teach them how to thwart and defeat any American military defense against China’s anticipated annexation of Taiwan in 2027.

The Iran war’s depletion of America’s military arsenal incentivizes China to act sooner rather than later on its annexation of Taiwan.

Christian Nationalists

Christian Nationalist pro-Zionist crusaders (Pete Hegseth, et al.), in control of the US military, are misusing the US military to crush Iran for 11th-century Catholic Christian religious motives.

Israeli Zionists

Israeli Zionist settlers are using the Israeli-American war on Iran to deflect and distract global attention from their accelerating settlement of the “West Bank” territory and its displacement of Palestinians.

Who Are the Collateral Damage Victims

Pretty much all humans — one way or another — will be affected to their detriment by the war with Iran.

The BIG victims are, or will be:

The Iranian People

The Iranian government is a theocracy supported by a terrorist organization, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC’s purposes are to: 1) protect the Iranian theocracy from revolutions and coup d’etats; 2) export the “Twelver” branch of Shia Islam and its theocratic polity; 3) export terrorism to redress long-standing grievances against Israel and Western civilization. The Iranian government drives the IRGC to execute its objectives with ruthless impunity.

The Iranian people are persecuted if they do not adhere to the dictates of their Twelver Shia Islamic theocracy. Then, they are overwhelmed by bombing by the Israeli and American militaries.

No matter which side they choose, they lose.

Persian Gulf countries

Iran cannot win a war against Israel and America involving direct military confrontation. They are “out-gunned.”

Their most effective offense is asymmetric targeting of the high-value military, economic, civilian, and cultural assets of adversaries and their allies using relatively low-cost weapons (drones, missiles, sleeper terrorist cells inside the territory of adversaries, etc.).

Iran has attacked the oil and gas production facilities and is threatening to attack the water-generating desalination facilities of its Gulf state neighbors, who are allies of America.

In some cases, it will take years to repair industrial capacity to pre-war levels.

Iran has effectively closed the primary Middle East oil and gas seaborne export corridor, the Strait of Hormuz. A large percentage of the world’s crude oil, petroleum liquids, gasoline, heating oil, diesel, liquid natural gas(LNG), fertilizer, sulfur, and other critical chemical exports flow through the Strait of Hormuz

Random attacks on oil tankers attempting to transit the strait have effectively closed the strait without Iran using its limited military assets.

The economic effects on Persian Gulf oil and gas producers will be more devastating as the war continues.

Lebanon

Iran’s proxy, Hezbollah, attacked Israel from Lebanon in retaliation for the Israeli-American attacks on Iran.

Israel responded by attacking Lebanese villages in Southern Lebanon and bombing Hezbollah targets in Lebanon and the capital of Lebanon, Beirut.

Thousands of Lebanese residents have been killed and a million displaced since the War on Iran started on February 28, 2026.

Ukraine

Ukraine’s allies need to be focused on supporting Ukraine in its war against Russia.

The Israeli-American war with Iran diverts a significant amount of American, EU, and NATO military, financial, and political support from Ukraine to the effects of the war on themselves, Middle East countries, and their oil, gas, and mineral industries.

EU countries

As the war with Iran drags on and if the Strait of Hormuz remains throttled, the EU’s economy will be negatively impacted.

The EU sanctioned its Russian oil and gas purchases in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Now that the production and export of Middle Eastern oil and gas have been dramatically reduced, EU countries are considering, or have temporarily lifted, sanctions on Russian oil and gas purchases.

Waiving or reducing sanctions on oil and gas intended to weaken Russia could now have the unintended consequence of making Russia stronger — economically and militarily.

World Oil and Gas Consumers

Oil and gas consumers in India. Pakistan, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, Australia, and the rest of Southeast Asia rely heavily on Middle East oil and gas products shipped through the Strait of Hormuz.

As the war with Iran drags on and if the Strait of Hormuz remains throttled, these countries’ economies will be negatively impacted.

If the war continues for months, India will be more severely impacted.

India’s dependence on:

• Imported Middle East oil and gas, combined with

• Its economic trading partnerships with the Gulf states, and

• its reliance on income from Indian workers employed by the Gulf states

make India particularly vulnerable economically if the war with Iran persists for more than a few weeks.

The exception is China. China is historically the largest purchaser of Middle Eastern oil and gas products. China prudently purchased and stored four months of oil and gas products (1+ billion barrels) before the start of the war with Iran.

Who Loses

Pretty much all humans will lose — one way or another. Citizens of the apparently winning countries will still be negatively affected economically.

The BIGGEST loser is, or soon will be:

American Hegemony

Since its inception in 1776, America has been viewed as the “go-to” refuge for the oppressed people of the world. The Statue of Liberty’s welcoming message to immigrants:

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, the wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!“

This is no longer true. America is no longer Reagan’s “shining city on a hill.”

The Trump 2.0 regime has turned inward, declaring “America First.”

America is no longer the world’s protector. We are, for now, its biggest bully:

• We threatened to annex Greenland.

• We alienate our NATO and EU allies.

• We threaten to abandon Ukraine.

• We staged a coup d’etat in Venezuela.

• We are blockading Cuba into submission.

• We are now locked in a war with Iran.

America is now a pariah in the same league as Russia and North Korea.

China now seems to be more strategic and rational than America.

Conclusions

America is Fucked! Sorry! Let me repeat that. America is FUCKED!

America will never again be viewed as the world’s liberal, stable haven, and “good” guy.

Don’t Wait! Register to Vote - NOW!!!

What you Need to Do

Voting requirements vary greatly by state.

Research the documents required in your state to: 1) prove you are a U.S citizen, 2) register to vote, and 3) cast your ballot.

Some states have driver’s licenses and state IDs (Real IDs) that display citizenship status.

If you have a valid, unexpired U.S. passport, that is indisputable proof of U.S. citizenship.

If you don’t have a valid passport or a state-issued ID card showing your U.S. citizenship, you may need to present a notarized, legal copy of your birth certificate when voting at a polling station.

If you were not born in the United States, then you need one of the following documents:

• Certificate of Naturalization

  (Form N-550 or N-570):

  For those who became citizens through naturalization.

• Certificate of Citizenship (Form N-560 or N-561): Often for individuals born abroad to U.S. parent(s).

• Consular Report of Birth Abroad (Form FS-240, DS-1350, or FS-545).

Don’t Delay

If you do not have a passport, a notarized, legal copy of your birth certificate, or other proof of citizenship, get one ASAP.

If you are a resident of one state but were born in another state, it may take weeks to months for you to obtain a notarized copy of your birth certificate.

If you are an older American citizen born before the “digital age” (1960s), obtaining a notarized, legal copy of your birth certificate may be more difficult and take months to process. Obviously, persons who get AIDS will not be SHAFTED or SCREWED any further by the Federal Government.

Employees who are not RAPED and are staying on will receive as much SHIT (Special High Intensity Training) as possible. The Federal Government has always prided itself on the amount of SHIT they give its employees.

Time for Epstein’s fellow pedophiles to be exposed!

Any American found to be frequently locker room “bro-texting” and “bro-emailing” with Epstein should be thoroughly investigated.

Other nations are holding their politicians and elites accountable who have violated their nation’s laws, morals, ethics, or social contract:

• The UK has arrested Prince Andrew, with King Charles III’s approval, for his alleged relationship with Epstein.

• Brazil has sentenced former president Jair Bolsonaro to 27 years in prison for his role in an attempted coup d’etat in 2023.

• South Korea has sentenced former South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol to life in prison for his role in an attempted coup d’etat in 2024.

Yet, Trump skates free after being indicted and convicted of multiple crimes, including his role in the attempted insurrection on January 6, 2021.

It is reported that Trump is mentioned, referenced, photographed, or recorded on video in the Epstein Files thousands of times. Under any other circumstances, a thorough investigation would be mandatory, an indictment would be assured, and a conviction, on multiple counts, would be likely.

Other Epstein acquaintances, mentioned only several to dozens of times, have been forced to resign from prestigious academic, corporate, and political positions of influence and power. Some may eventually be indicted and convicted as more of the Epstein Files are unredacted and released.

We don’t need to wait any longer.

Enough is enough! It is time for Trump to resign or be indicted.

To paraphrase James Carville’s 1992 Clinton re-election campaign slogan, “It’s the economy, stupid.” My red line was, “It’s the masks, stupid.”

“Masked”, unidentifiable law enforcement officers and agents are, if not illegal, certainly their behavior is “UN-AMERICAN.” Are masked ICE agents assaulting, shooting, caging, and deporting immigrants and legal citizens any different than hooded KuKluxKlan riders lynching black people?

Trump 2.0 has crossed many egregious red lines. Among these are:

- Pardoning thousands of criminals and insurrectionists.

- Accepting gifts from foreign leaders - Boeing 747 from Qatar.

In “the good old days” many of his executive orders would have triggered his impeachment, removal by the 25th amendment, or forced resignation, like Nixon.

The latest crossed red line was Trump’s official White House letter addressed to Jonas Gahr Støre, the Norwegian Prime Minister, scolding him for Trump not being awarded the Nobel Peace prize; then using that as a reason for the United States to amp up its efforts to seize Greenland, by any means, from Denmark.

This letter is an embarrassing rant by an irresponsible Toddler-in-Chief who didn’t get his way, so he throws a tantrum and threatens to throw his toy, the US Military, against the wall - disgusting and perilous.

Dear Jonas:

Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.

Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only a boat that landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also.

The American people, en masse, must do something before the 2026 midterm elections to stop Trump 2.0’s fascist, calculated insanity:

• Deploying the National Guard of one state to another state against the protests of that state’s governor (Los Angeles, Chicago, et al.),

  A Trump ploy clandestinely intended to:

  • Weaken or break-up NATO in service to Putin’s goals of acquiring Ukraine and, ultimately, recreating the USSR.

  • Prevent Putin from releasing Kompromat implicating Trump.

• During a recent interview, Trump boasted that he had accomplished so much that, “When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election,” referring to the midterm federal elections.

Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime have gone too far, and they are just getting started!!!

By the midterm elections, it may be too late to save the America we knew and loved.

We must do something decisive — NOW!

What must be done has to be massive, widely distributed, and unstoppable to prevent the Trump 2.0 fascists from quelling our RAGE.

A few days ago, I was reading yet another Substack post imploring all of Us to keep doing the same old tactics of “write your Congressman”, “attend town halls”, “rally, march, and protest often, but peacefully, et al.”

While reading that post, I recalled a scene from the 1976 movie, “Network” in which a television news anchorman, frustrated by the news he is reporting, explodes, screaming into the camera, “I’m mad as Hell. I’m not going to take this anymore.”

He goes on to exhort his nationwide audience to open their windows and shout, at the same time, and as loud as they can, “I’M, MAD AS HELL. I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE.“

And that is exactly what happens. From every home on farms, in villages, suburbs, towns, and cities, the American People opened their windows and shouted, “I’M MAD AS HELL. I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE.“

Then, I thought, “We CAN DO THAT!”

What We Could Do

Sure we could open our windows and scream, “I’M MAD AS HELL. I’M NOT GOIMG TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE.“, to get Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime to feel our PATRIOTIC RAGE at what they are doing to Our country.

Here is another idea:

American Household Light Flashing SOS Signal Protest

Americans could execute a coordinated, nationwide Morse Code SOS distress signal protest against Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime by flashing their house lights, car headlights, or a flashlight spelling out the SOS distress signal, “dot, dot, dot, dash, dash, dash, dot, dot, dot”. The SOS signal should be repeated at least five (5) times. I estimate this event would take from 1-½ to 2 minutes.

If flashing lights signaling SOS are too difficult, just flashing your house lights or a flashlight on and off, repeatedly, for a minute or two would send the same message.

This event should occur when the International Space Station transits above the North American Continent so that it can be video recorded. Satellite image analysis tools could then be used to estimate the number of American households voting against Trump 2.0 and Trumpism.

If “light flashing” events were held repeatedly, weekly or monthly, time-based trend lines showing the extent of Americans’ discontent could be plotted.

This repeating event would signal to “everyone”: fellow citizens, the Federal Government, the American military, America’s wary allies, and America’s competitors how much and how many Americans are united in opposition to Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime.

Repeat this event until Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime stop their fascist behavior or are somehow removed from office.

What is good about this type of protest:

• Universal — Anyone who can flip a light switch on and off can easily participate, even children.

• Visible — You can see your neighbors’ lights turning on and off, and instantly judge the level of protest support. People traveling in planes, trains, or automobiles would see the protest.

• Minimal preparation — No protest signs and banners to be created, no e-mails, or text messages, or Substack posts to be written.

• No travel — no one has to travel to a rally site, march down a road, or stand for hours holding a protest sign on a city street corner or hanging a banner over a freeway overpass.

• No danger — no one has to worry about being harassed, pepper-sprayed, beaten with a baton, car-jacked, or shot in the face by DHS ICE agents.

• Anonymous — no one has to worry about being individually targeted by ever-present security cameras or roving bands of DHS ICE agents.

Other En Masse Protest Ideas

If the above idea seems untenable, then here are two possible options that are universal and highly visible, but do require effort, cost time and money, have some chance of personal danger, and do not ensure anonymity:

Flying the American Flag Upside Down

Flying the American Flag “upside down” was originally intended to communicate extreme distress. During the past fifty years it has often been used during political protests.

The US Supreme Court has ruled that displaying the American Flag “upside down” in protest is free speech and is protected by the Constitution’s 1st Amendment.

Buy a 3’ x 5’ American flag and display it at home, in accordance with flag etiquette, “upside down”1 to tell everyone who drives or walks by your house that you believe America is in distress.

Nation-Wide “QR” Code Referendum

Congressman Ritchie Torres (D-NY) is planning to sponsor a bill requiring law enforcement officers and agents to prominently display, on their uniforms, a “QR” code which could be scanned by a mobile phone camera (i.e. iPhone, et al.) to identify individual law enforcement officers and agents. The prominent display of the “QR” code is intended to minimize contentious verbal confrontations when asking law enforcement officers and agents to identify themselves.

Applying Representative Torres’ “QR” code concept to a nationwide referendum against the Trump 2.0 regime, I can imagine a collaboration of protest organizations obtaining a complete list of registered voters, then creating a unique “QR” code linked to each registered voter. These “QR” codes could be imprinted on plastic or paper cards and sent to registered voters by mail or sent digitally to their registered e-mail address. Each voter would then use a mobile phone registered to them to scan their unique “QR” code card. The scanning of the unique “QR” code by the verified voter would trigger the display of a referendum form. The referendum form would ask voters to respond with “Yes” or “No” to several questions related to the Trump 2.0 regime, such as “Should Donald J. Trump be impeached and removed from office?” At the end of the referendum form would be a “Submit” button. Once the “Submit” button is depressed, their vote is cast, cannot be changed, is tallied, and stored securely.

The actual implementation of a “QR” Code Referendum would likely be different than described here based on how best to ensure a secure and accurate vote.

Conclusion

These are universal protest ideas. Maybe one of them is that “great” idea. But nothing happens unless the “word gets out” to the American People. Only a coalition of protest organizations, such as 50501, Indivisible, the Save America Movement (SAM), and the ACLU, could “get the word out” and coordinate the launching of one or more nationwide protests like those described in this post.

The 2nd “No Kings” Rally, attended by 7 million protesters, was impressive, but not enough to overwhelm Trump and the Trump 2.0 regime. We, the American People, must send a clear message that there are 50 to 100 million of Us who would gladly open their windows and shout, “I’M MAD AS HELL. I’M NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE.“

The Venezuelan drug trafficking coup d’etat and trump’s1 renewed threats to usurp Denmark’s sovereignty over Greenland to secure its rare earth minerals and its Atlantic Ocean access routes to the Arctic Ocean are the latest “over-the-top” deflections and distractions from what’s really going on.

What’s Really Going On?

What Americans and their global allies and competitors are now watching is the trump 2.0 regime’s gambit to morph America from a democratic republic into a technocratic autocratic American empire spanning the Western Hemisphere.

The overlordship of Venezuela and the threatened, unilateral seizure of Greenland are just the trump 2.0 regime’s first two links in a chain of planned strategic acquisitions. Who is next? Cuba?

The trump 2.0 regime is under severe time pressure. Although they appear to have Venezuela under their thumb. Greenland must be acquired before their projected loss of control of Congress in January 2027.

If they somehow maintain control of Congress in January 2027, they will likely succeed in their acquisition of Greenland before trump leaves office on January 20th, 2029.

If the trump 2.0 regime retains control of the Presidency beyond 2028, then the creation of a 21st-century American empire will be well underway and may be unstoppable.

Deflections and Distractions

By now, we all know that the trump 2.0 regime attempts to achieve most of its political goals through a constant flood of distractions and deflections.

Their tactics and strategies are similar to how a pickpocket distracts you by bumping into you while his accomplice simultaneously snatches your wallet from your pocket.

The trump 2.0 DoJ’s fumbling and stumbling performance

The obvious goal of the DoJ’s fumbling, stumbling, and law-breaking deflections and distractions regarding the release of all of the Epstein Files to Congress is to delay their release until after the midterm Congressional elections in November of 2026. Their efforts, if successful, might allow the Republican Party to retain control of Congress in January of 2027.

The public and news media focus on the DoJ’s fumbling, stumbling, and law-breaking behavior. They do not focus on the real possibility that the Epstein files, which may contain incontrovertible, documented evidence of pedophilia, may not be delivered to Congress before the 2026 Congressional midterm elections.

If the Epstein Files are fully released before the Congressional midterm elections and are found to contain undeniable visual evidence of pedophilia by trump or any of trump’s associates, then the trump and MAGA-controlled Republican Party will surely lose control of Congress in January of 2027.

If the MAGA-controlled Republican Party loses control of Congress in January of 2027, then the trump 2.0 regime’s rush to create a 21st-century American empire will be delayed, if not derailed.

Venezuelan Coup d’Etat

The stated goal of the United States’ Venezuelan coup d’etat was to arrest Nicholas Maduro and prevent Venezuelan narco-terrorists from future exportation of illegal narcotics to the United States.

The clandestine goal is to transform Venezuela into a vassal of the United States through control of Venezuela’s oil reserves and oil industry. In effect, this coup d’etat is the first step in the creation of a 21st-century American empire.

The public and the news media initially focused on the illegality of killing suspected drug traffickers without due process (a deflection/distraction), then they shifted focus to the kidnapping of Venezuela’s President, Nicholas Maduro (a 2nd deflection/distraction).

Immediately after Maduro’s extradition, the trump 2.0 regime’s narrative changed. Elimination of narco-terrorist cartels and their drug trafficking were no longer the stated goals for the coup d’etat.

The deflection and distraction reasons for why the United States executed the coup d’etat switched, in a heartbeat, to Venezuela’s oil reserves and its oil industry (a 3rd deflection/distraction).

• Venezuela was shipping oil to sanctioned countries.

• Hugo Chávez (Nicholas Maduro’s predecessor) had seized American oil industry assets in the 1970s, and the United States wants to be reimbursed.

• Venezuela’s oil industry is in disrepair and needs to be updated. American oil companies should manage Venezuelan oil reserves and the renovation of its oil industry.

Maintaining long-term control of Venezuela’s oil reserves and oil industry is central to the trump 2.0 regime’s recent declaration of the “Donroe” doctrine, an adaptation of the 1823 Monroe doctrine, which declares America’s hegemony over the Western Hemisphere, North and South America. Finally, the clandestine goal is revealed.

Greenland Acquisition

The stated goals of the United States’ acquisition of Greenland were the strategic importance of its Arctic Ocean location and its rare earth mineral deposits.

The clandestine goals of the Greenland acquisition are the United States’ withdrawal from NATO and the United States’ cessation of support for Ukraine in its war with Russia.

The public and news media focus on the overt, brazen threats to acquire, by any means necessary, the sovereign territory of a NATO ally — a distraction and deflection from the real objective, which is the dismantling of NATO.

Since 1949, Europe’s, and later on the European Union’s (EU), security has depended on the United States’ commitment to Article 52 of the NATO Charter. Without the United States’ Article 5 commitment, the EU is more vulnerable to Russia’s ongoing efforts to recreate the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

Based on trump’s many well-documented statements in support and adulation of Vladimir Putin, it is reasonable to assume that Putin holds kompromat over trump. If exposed to the public, this kompromat could destroy trump’s reputation, political career, and any positive aspects of his historical legacy. Putin owns trump!

The weakening or dismantling of NATO as a result of the trump 2.0 regime’s following through on its threats to Greenland’s sovereignty serves three clandestine purposes:

• Improves Russia’s chances of prevailing in its four-year war with Ukraine.

• Improves Putin’s chances of succeeding in his stated goal of restoring the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR).

• Adds Greenland to the de facto, newly-formed 21st-century American Empire.

Intended Consequences

I believe the intended consequences of the trump 2.0 regime’s Venezuelan coup d’etat and its threats to Greenland’s sovereignty are to:

• Gain control of ½ of the Earth’s known oil reserves.

• Acquire Venezuela as the first vassal of the 21st-century American empire3.

• Send a “warning shot” to Russia, and especially to China, to cease and vacate their efforts to gain access to and influence over the Western Hemisphere’s nations and those nations’ natural resources.

• Control of oil exported to Venezuela’s principal importer, China.

• Appease Putin by disrupting and maybe dismantling NATO.

• Gain sole control of Greenland’s natural resources, its Arctic Ocean shoreline, and its access routes to the Arctic Ocean.

Unintended Consequences

I believe the unintended, but logically expected, consequences of the trump 2.0 regime’s Venezuelan coup d’etat and its threats to Greenland’s sovereignty might be:

• Tacit permission by the United States to allow China to invade and acquire Taiwan4.

• Tacit permission for Russia to more aggressively pursue its war with Ukraine.

• Increase the probability that Russia will increase its efforts to reacquire former republics of the USSR, such as the Baltic nations: Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.

Conclusions

If the trump 2.0 regime can stay in power through 2028, acquire Greenland, and withdraw from NATO, the EU loses. The winners would be China, Russia, and the United States.

How China Could Win

• Acquire Taiwan without a war with the United States. China gets Taiwan. The US gets Greenland.

• Access to more of Venezuela’s oil reserves.

• Tacit agreement with the United States not to meddle in their respective primary spheres of influence. China controls Far East Asia, Southeast Asia. and the Western Pacific Ocean. The United States controls North America, South America, and the Eastern Pacific Ocean.

How Russia Could Win

• NATO is weakened and may be dismantled.

• Russia wins its war with Ukraine.

• The EU is weakened by the United States’ withdrawal from NATO.

How the USA Could Win

• Control of more than 50% of the Earth’s proven oil reserves.

• Ownership of Greenland and its natural resources.

• Doubling of the United States’ Arctic Ocean shoreline and acquiring Atlantic Ocean access routes to the Arctic Ocean.

He doesn’t deserve that level of respect), the self-proclaimed peace president claims to have negotiated the peaceful resolution of 8 international conflicts, unsuccessfully lobbied to be awarded a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts, then initiates a coup d’ etat1 in Venezuela. Huh?

What’s really going on here?

• Does “trump 2.0” see Venezuela as the primary source of illicit drugs like cocaine and fentanyl flowing into America and wants to stop it?

• Is “trump 2.0’s” removal of a dictator who has systematically oppressed Venezuelan citizens intended to benefit them?

They have shown themselves to be weak, good-for-nothing, and can’t be counted on to handle their responsibilities.

The War Against Trump 2.0 and Beyond

The November 4, 2025, landslide election victories in Virginia, New Jersey, New York City, and California won the first set of major battles against Trump 2.0. But the war against the emergence of a nazi-like fascist dictatorship in the United States will continue through 2028 and beyond, regardless of the outcomes of:

• The 2026 mid-term congressional elections, the next major battle, or

• The 2028 presidential election.

Trump’s “BBB” (Big Beautiful Bill) and all the crazed government and social contract destruction Trump 2.0 has, so far, wrought are just mid-process steps in a decades-long, ongoing effort to transfer America’s income, wealth, and Power to “wannabe feudal overlords.”

The King Is Dead, The “Them” Are in Control

King Trump may be dying. His overt, erratic behavior is accelerating his political death.

But his death — natural, political, or both — will be of no consequence. He has always been just a useful tool for rallying the MAGAs and other disenfranchised American voters.

The true enemy is not Trump. It is “Them.” The “Them” tolerate our narcissist monarch because of his ability to incite and control hard-core MAGA and other disenfranchised American voters to allow “Them” to grab the reins of political, economic, and military power.

“Them”: Wannabe Feudal Overlords

The “Them “ are the billionaires (~1,000 Americans), $100M+ centi-millionaires (~10,000 Americans), and their sycophants: “tech-bros”, judicial elites, mega corporations, corporate media, et al.

“They” knew that on election day, November 4, 2025, there would be a backlash from truly patriotic Americans, progressive elites, a large portion of non-MAGA “paycheck-to-paycheck” Americans, and a significant percentage of MAGAs that finally and instinctively sensed something was wrong and rebelled.

Maybe these “Wannabe feudal overlords” underestimated the size and scope of the electoral results backlash, but they knew it was coming. That’s why they so frenetically executed, during their first nine months in power, much of the Heritage Foundation’s “Project 2025” manifesto’s plans for dismantling the United States government.

“Their” goal was to do as much damage as they could before the backlash.

We can’t defeat “Them”. “They” have always been in America and always will be — just like the rats, cockroaches, and other vermin which inhabit the dark, dank places within your home.

To preserve the American democratic republic, the “Them” must be kept from seizing power through ensuring “free and fair” elections voted by well-informed Americans.

21st Century Feudal Society

I believe the “Them” have, for a long time, had a shadow, loosely coordinated strategic plan and supporting tactical plans designed and systematically deployed to convert America, and other economically independent nation-states, into retro-feudal societies.

The “Them” are striving to become the 21st century’s version of the land-owning nobility of the Middle Ages. If successful, “They” will wield all power: political, economic, and military. The rest of the American People will be reduced to serfdom or ultimately and quietly euthanized after becoming functionally useless as a direct result of the rise of artificial general intelligence (AGI). robotics, and the effects of climate change on life-sustaining natural resources: air, water, and food.

Where We Are Now

After the Allies won a crucial battle in World War II, Winston Churchill famously said, “Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”

Churchill’s quote aptly describes where America is now in its epic battle with “Them.”

• Unleashing the U.S. military to attack adversaries unable to defend themselves against the American Military (e.g., Iranian nuclear facilities and Venezuelan boats suspected of exporting illegal narcotics to the United States).

• Censoring public and corporate media organizations’ content distribution by threatening legal action, issuing regulatory controls, and withholding Congressionally approved funding.

• Threatening lawsuits, then suing law firms representing political rivals.

• Threatening political rivals with lawsuits.

• Demonizing vulnerable minorities and immigrants.

• Intimidating economic trading partners with deliberately oppressive, unfair, or politically motivated tariffs.

These tactics are intended to deflect the American public’s attention from Trump 2.0’s strategic objective: conversion of the United States government from a “flawed” democratic republic to a fascist dictatorship similar to Nazi Germany, Mussolini’s Italy, or Kim Jong Un’s North Korea.

Hitler’s Inner Circle

The worst members of Hitler’s inner circle, from the late 1920s until Hitler’s suicide in May of 1945, were:

• Hermann Göring - de facto Minister of Economics, Governor of Prussia, Commander of the German Air Force (Luftwaffe), creator and commander of the Gestapo

• Joseph Goebbels - Minister of Public Enlightenment and Propaganda

• Heinrich Himmler - Commander of the SS, architect of the “Final Solution” and “the Holocaust,” designed to imprison, exploit, and exterminate Jews, Slavs, and other ethnic minorities residing in Nazi-controlled Europe.

• Reinhard Heydrich - Commander of the SD (SS intelligence arm), principal executor of the “Final Solution” and “the Holocaust”

• Adolph Eichmann - Subordinate to Heydrich in the SS. Managed the logistics operations involved in the mass deportation of millions of Jews to Nazi ghettos and Nazi extermination camps across German-occupied Europe

These are the five men most responsible for overseeing the Nazi party apparatus and war machine. Except for Reinhard Heydrich, each of these men was convicted during the Nuremberg trials, sentenced to death, and either executed or committed suicide. Reinhard Heydrich had been assassinated in 1942.

Netflix hosts a ten-episode documentary presenting and discussing the roles Hitler’s “henchmen”1 played in the rise and fall of the Nazi Third Reich. This documentary series is also available on YouTube.2

Trump 2.0’s Inner Circle

Just like Hitler, Trump has an “inner” circle of devious sycophants:

• J. D. Vance - Vice President of the United States

• Stephen Miller - Deputy Chief of Staff

• Russell Vougt - Director, Office of Management and Budget (OMB)

• Pamela Bondi - Attorney General of the United States

• Peter Hegseth - Secretary of Defense

• Karoline Leavitt - White House Press Secretary

• Kristi Noem - Secretary of Homeland Security

• Tom Homan - Director, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

• Kash Patel - Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

• Robert F. Kennedy Jr. - Secretary of Health and Human Services

As you review the Wikipedia biographical information linked to each member of Trump 2.0’s “inner circle”, it is clear that many lack the necessary and required credentials, education, and experience to perform the duties of the offices they hold. Their principal common denominator qualification for their powerful positions is their fawning loyalty to Donald J Trump.

Some are members of the wealthy, “dark money” American oligarchy. Some are aligned with Christian Nationalists. Some have experience in local, state, and/or federal government roles, although not directly related to their current position.

I suspect that many others, like Peter Thiel and Elon Musk, are serving in clandestine roles, silently undermining the American political system.

Comparing Trump’s and Hitler’s Henchmen

Joseph Goebbels controlled the flow of public information for the Nazis.

J. D. Vance, Stephen Miller, Susie Wiles, Katherine Leavitt, Russell Vought, Scott Bessent, Robert F. Kennedy, and Pam Bondi are colluding to control the content and the flow of information to the public for Trump.

What Himmler, Heydrich, Eichmann, the SS, and the Gestapo did to the Jews for the Nazis, Kristi Noem, Stephen Miller, Pam Bondi, Kash Patel, Tom Homan, and ICE are colluding to do to American immigrants for Trump.

Then, I asked ChatGPT 5:

ChatGpt 5’s Response:

Pretty good, but the “star” on the military cap was not correct. It reminded me of the insignia on the caps worn by the Chinese and Russian military personnel. It needed to be replaced.

I asked ChatGpt 5 to modify the image:

Remove the star on the general’s hat. Add a fourth star to the lapels of the general’s uniform. Reduce the size of the American miltary general by 33 percent.

Hmmm! How did what I asked violate OpenAI’s content policies?

I modified my request:

I wanted ChatGpt to create an image of the general’s cap similar to that shown in the following image.

For a while, I reflected on why a cartoon containing:

Conclusion

Free speech in the United States of America is now a myth.

Free speech is, more than ever, tilted in favor of the rich and powerful. Trump and Trump 2.0 administration sycophants get to say whatever they want — truth or fabrication. But the American People’s right to dissent, criticize, deride, ridicule, or poke fun at the behavior of Trump, his sycophant cronies, or oligarch financial and ideological backers is no longer allowed.

Jimmy Kimmel’s reinstatement is an outlier. His show was most likely reinstated to mollify the public and quiet their outrage while Trump, the Trump 2.0 regime, and the American oligarchy silently pursue their de facto muzzling of the American People’s right to: 1) say what they want, 2) when they want, 3) without fear of censorship by executive order and/or frivolous lawsuits.

Apparently, corporate media and the powerful, coercive AI “tech-bros” have caved in to Trump, Trump 2.0, and the American Oligarchy — all backed up and driven by the MAGA and Christian Nationalist movements’ grievances and desires for retribution. Now, in 2025, with the rapid transformation of the United States from a democratic republic into a fascist dictatorship, I must protest.

I protest for my grandchildren, children, and America’s young adults. They should not have to live in fear of growing up and living in a society without liberty, freedom, and equal protection under the “Rule of Law.”

Today’s parents and grandparents allowed a political culture and political economy to flourish which resulted in the birth and growth of Trump 1.0 and 2.0 into the existential threat it is to America.

The next major step in Our war on fascism is attending October 18, 2025’s nationwide “No KINGS” protests, marches, and rallies.

To send a clear, defiant message to Trump 2.0, there must be “many” millions of protesters.

Since August 1, I have become extra vigilant about vetting my news sources to ensure “fair and balanced” reporting.

For years, I have been a subscriber to The New York Times. Why? Based on my experience, I had always considered the NYT to be a trusted, wide-ranging source for US national news, both political and apolitical. I did not believe I needed to worry that I was being fed propaganda or that important events and stories might be ignored or buried on their back pages.

After August 1, I began to notice that news content shared on Substack, and important to me, was often either ignored or marginalized by the mainstream news media outlets like the NYT, ABC, CBS, CNN, etc.

So, I decided to search for more reliable, “fair and balanced” news sources that report on both U.S. and global news. I explored the Associated Press (AP), Reuters, and The Guardian (Allegedly not billionaire-controlled), and several others. I settled on The Guardian and subscribed to it.

Last week (August 24-30), I became aware of hundreds of planned nationwide protest events scheduled to occur on Labor Day (Monday, September 1). The subject of these protests was to “Support Workers Over Billionaires.”

While driving up I-5 on Labor Day, there were protesters waving protest banners on several freeway overpasses.

When I got home on Labor Day evening, I went online to see how these events were being reported. First, I checked The Guardian. Their coverage of these protests was on their front page and showed pictures of some of the hundreds of rallies, marches, and freeway overpass protests held throughout America on Labor Day. Then, I checked The New York Times. I found no mention on the NYT front page of these Labor Day protests against the American billionaire oligarchy supported by the fascist Trump regime.

The next day (Tuesday, 9-02-2025), I checked to see if the NYT was just late reporting on these protests. Same result!

Next, I used the NYT search feature to search for articles related to “Labor Day protests.” At the top of the list of search results was an article entitled, “Labor Day Protests Denounce Trump While Supporting Workers” along with an article entitled, “Trump Protests Cascade Across the Country”, reported on page A17 of the September 2, 2025, print edition of The New York Times.

The problem here is that the NYT appears to have deliberately buried its reporting of anti-Trump protests on the back pages of its online and print editions. This is equivalent to no reporting! Essentially silence — just what the Trump regime’s propaganda machine wants from the NYT and corporate media!

Deflection, diversion, and distraction: The "go-to" Trump strategy to bury embarrassing and potentially destructive political information from public scrutiny.

As the Epstein Files controversy has gained traction and the American public's attention, Trump and his sycophants have doubled-down on issuing outrageous, ridiculous, and, in some instances, illegal executive orders and other political ploys to deflect, divert, and distract the American public’s attention:

• Falsely declaring America is being invaded by illegal immigrants to circumvent the United States Constitution’s due process1 and Habeus Corpus2 clauses.
  
  Habeus corpus protects both citizens and non-citizens from unlawful imprisonment by requiring authorities to bring a detained person before a court to determine if their confinement is lawful.
  

• Hiring thousands of unqualified ICE agents; then deploying these vigilante-like, Ku Klux Klan reminiscent agents to search for, arrest and detain allegedly illegal immigrants on the streets of America and in their homes while wearing masks, driving unmarked vehicles, and refusing to show detainees their lawful identification.

• Deploying US National Guard and active duty US Marines to restore order in Los Angeles, CA in response to mostly peaceful public protests and rallies opposing ICE activities.

• Grandiose bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities.

• Deploying US National Guard troops from several states to take control of law and order in, allegedly, crime-ridden Washington, DC.

• Threatening to deploy US National Guard troops in *blue* state sanctuary cities which refuse to comply with ICE's efforts to locate, arrest, and detain allegedly illegal immigrants.

• Ordering the Texas state legislature to gerrymander their congressional districts in an attempt to gain as many as five additional US House of Representatives seats in the upcoming 2026 congressional elections.

• Holding a unnecessary and apparently unproductive summit in Alaska with Russian President, Vladimir Putin to resolve the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.

• Announcing a planned executive order terminating the mail-in voting option in all 50 states based on a suggestion by Putin. Putin was proven to have interfered with the 2016 US Presidential election to help Trump get elected.

• Sending a letter to Gov. Bob Ferguson of Washington State threatening him with imprisonment if the State of Washington does not comply with Trump Administration executive orders.

With these increasing and outrageous daily distractions, it is difficult to stay focused on what may turn out to be one of political history's biggest exposés - the opening of the Epstein Files.

The breadth and depth of Epstein's adjudicated crimes and his close relationships with politicians (Trump, Clinton, et. al), financiers, British Royalty (Prince Andrew), lawyers (Alan Dershowitz), and a host of uber-wealthy individuals indicates to me that there is a list of Epstein's co-pedophiles hidden within the Epstein Files. We may never see that list. The proof of their guilt may have already been deleted from what remains of the US government’s trove of original Epstein Files.

However, There are other sources of information on Epstein’s criminal sex trafficing enterprise:

• Court records which are difficult for politicians to delete.

• Two Netflix documentaries one on Epstein3 and the other on Ghislaine Maxwell4.

The light of day must be shined on the Epstein Files and any of Epstein’s co-pedophiles.

The American Public and our elected representatives must keep chanting,
