"It Was the Masks, Stupid" - Now It's the "Norway" Letter
Masked ICE agents continue to assault, shoot, cage, and deport legal immigrants and United States citizens and now Trump wants a Nobel Peace Prize?
With Trump 2.0, I had my own red line. Trump crossed it when he ordered masked ICE agents to invade targeted American neighborhoods.
To paraphrase James Carville’s 1992 Clinton re-election campaign slogan, “It’s the economy, stupid.” My red line was, “It’s the masks, stupid.”
“Masked”, unidentifiable law enforcement officers and agents are, if not illegal, certainly their behavior is “UN-AMERICAN.” Are masked ICE agents assaulting, shooting, caging, and deporting immigrants and legal citizens any different than hooded KuKluxKlan riders lynching black people?
Trump 2.0 has crossed many egregious red lines. Among these are:
- Pardoning thousands of criminals and insurrectionists.
- Accepting gifts from foreign leaders - Boeing 747 from Qatar.
In “the good old days” many of his executive orders would have triggered his impeachment, removal by the 25th amendment, or forced resignation, like Nixon.
The latest crossed red line was Trump’s official White House letter addressed to Jonas Gahr Støre, the Norwegian Prime Minister, scolding him for Trump not being awarded the Nobel Peace prize; then using that as a reason for the United States to amp up its efforts to seize Greenland, by any means, from Denmark.
This letter is an embarrassing rant by an irresponsible Toddler-in-Chief who didn’t get his way, so he throws a tantrum and threatens to throw his toy, the US Military, against the wall - disgusting and perilous.
Dear Jonas:
Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.
Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? There are no written documents, it’s only a boat that landed there hundreds of years ago, but we had boats landing there, also.
I have done more for NATO than any person since its founding, and now, NATO should do something for the United States.
The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland.

Trump is “off the rails.” This latest crossed red line is consistent with the diagnosis of Trump as a malignant narcissist, enhanced by frontotemporal dementia (FTD).
Trump and the entire Trump 2.0 Administration must be removed from office by any means possible, as soon as possible, or there is no return to “the way it was.”
